Life At Camp
Summer days at Castle Rock Ranch are full of activity, but even with a day full of horseback riding, animal care, swimming, exploring, and harvesting vegetables and berries from our gardens, we always make some time to slow down and enjoy our surroundings.
A Typical Day at Camp!
| 7:00 | Wake up and get ready for an exciting day! |
| 7:15 | Morning Chores: feed the hungry animals and help get breakfast ready |
| 8:00 | Breakfast |
| 9:00-12:00 | Morning activities: horseback riding or gardening, cooking, hiking |
| 12:30 | Lunchtime |
| 1:00 | Rest time/Laundry |
| 2:00-5:00 | Afternoon activities: river, afternoon ride, or off-ranch adventure |
| 5:30 | Shower time/wash up for dinner |
| 6:30 | Dinner time |
| 7:00 | Evening chores (the animals are hungry again!) |
| 8:00 | Evening activities: campfire, games, letter writing, or arts and craft projects) |
| 9:00 | Teepee time |
| 9:30 | Lights out and time to rest up for another exciting day! |
